How to Install

Open the Chrome Web Store listing for LinkedIn Video Transcript by Voqusa (link above) and click Add to Chrome.
Click Add extension to confirm. The extension installs in a few seconds.
Go to linkedin.com and open your home feed or navigate to a specific post containing a video. A Voqusa Transcribe button appears below the video in the post card.
If the button does not appear, reload the LinkedIn tab once. LinkedIn's feed uses client-side rendering that occasionally requires a reload for the content script to attach.

How to Use

Go to linkedin.com and find any post containing a video — in your feed, in search results, or on a company or personal profile page.
Click the Voqusa Transcribe button below the video. The extension transcribes the audio and displays the transcript in a side panel, with the post author's name as the speaker label.
Click Prospecting Summary to generate the three-bullet brief: Main claim, Data points, Key message. This uses one Voqusa credit.
Click Copy with URL to copy the full transcript (or just the summary) plus the LinkedIn post URL — ready to paste into Salesforce notes, HubSpot, or an outreach email draft.
To save for later, click Add to Swipe File. Tag the entry with the speaker's industry, seniority level, and topic to make it searchable across your research library.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the extension work on LinkedIn Learning videos?

No. LinkedIn Learning is a separate product at linkedin.com/learning and uses a different video player architecture. The extension injects only on the main linkedin.com feed, post, and profile pages. For LinkedIn Learning course videos, use the Voqusa web app and paste the video URL directly.

The speaker name in the transcript is wrong. How do I correct it?

The extension pulls the speaker name from the post author's display name on the LinkedIn post card. If a company page published the video but the actual speaker is a named individual, the auto-detected speaker will be the company name. You can edit the speaker label directly in the transcript panel before saving to your swipe file.

Can I transcribe LinkedIn company page videos?

Yes. The extension works on video posts from both personal profiles and company pages. For company pages, the speaker label defaults to the company name. The prospecting summary still works — it extracts main claims and data points regardless of whether the speaker is a person or a brand.

Does the extension work with LinkedIn Live replays?

LinkedIn Live replays that remain visible as regular posts on the feed are supported. If the replay is still shown as a live event card rather than a standard post, the Transcribe button may not appear. In that case, copy the post URL and paste it into the Voqusa web app at voqusa.com.

Is the prospecting summary suitable for sharing with prospects?

The prospecting summary is designed for your internal notes and research, not for sharing with the person you are researching. It surfaces their own claims and data points to help you personalise outreach — but the actual outreach message should be written by you and tailored to the context. Pasting a machine-generated summary into a cold email without editing would be counterproductive.
