Voqusa for ChatGPT
Paste a video link into any chat. The transcript appears right there: timestamped, searchable, and saved to your Voqusa history.
Using Codex? Add Voqusa with:
01Open Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar
02Press Add, then Add custom MCP server
03Name it Voqusa, paste the server URL, keep OAuth, tick the box and press Create as a plugin
04Sign in to Voqusa and press Allow
The server URL to paste
Voqusa isn’t in ChatGPT’s plugin directory yet, so for now you add it by its address. ChatGPT shows a risk notice for every server added this way. In a work or school workspace, an admin may need to allow custom servers first.
That’s the real card ChatGPT shows. Expand it, search it, or copy the text.
What you can do with Voqusa in ChatGPT
Pick a job on the left. Voqusa does the transcribing; ChatGPT does the rest, in the same conversation.
Chats
Any public video, with timestamps. On YouTube a timestamp opens the video at that second.
Here’s the transcript, 9 lines with timestamps. Want a summary, or the three main points?
Works with the links you already share
Paste a link from any of these and ask for the transcript. Private or deleted posts can’t be opened, and you’re never charged for them.
Everything the card can do, inside the chat
The transcript lives in an interactive card, so ChatGPT never has to paste a wall of text into the conversation.
- Timestamped lines
- Search inside
- Copy the full text

Frequently asked questions
What is Voqusa for ChatGPT?
An app that lets ChatGPT transcribe the video and audio links you paste into a chat. The transcript shows up in a card in the conversation, and ChatGPT can summarize, quote or translate it for you.
Does it cost anything?
Adding Voqusa is free. New transcriptions use the credits in your Voqusa account — the same balance as voqusa.com — and opening transcripts you already have is free.
Which links work?
Public posts from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and more. If a post is private, deleted or has no video, Voqusa says so and doesn’t charge you.
What can ChatGPT see in my account?
Only what you allow when you connect: it can transcribe what you ask, read the transcripts in your history, and see your email and credit balance.
Can I use it in Codex?
Yes. Run the two commands on this page; Codex opens your browser once so you can sign in.
How do I disconnect it?
Remove Voqusa in ChatGPT’s settings, or disconnect it from Connected apps in your Voqusa settings. Either one ends its access immediately; your transcripts stay in your history.
