How Voqusa credits work
Voqusa uses credits for new transcriptions. Everything you have already transcribed stays free to open.
What uses credits
Transcribing a new video or audio file uses 1 credit per minute of audio, rounded up, so a 4-minute video uses 4 credits. YouTube videos with captions are cheaper: the first 3 each month are free, and after that each one uses 1 credit.
What is always free
Opening, reading, searching and copying transcripts in your history never uses credits. If a video has no speech, or a transcription fails, nothing is charged.
One balance everywhere
voqusa.com, the browser extension, ChatGPT and Codex all draw on the same balance in your account.
Adding credits
Credits are added from your account on voqusa.com. Apps connected to Voqusa, such as ChatGPT and Codex, can’t buy credits for you.
Checking your balance
Your balance is on the Credits page of your Voqusa dashboard. In ChatGPT or Codex, you can also ask: “How many Voqusa credits do I have?”
